North Arm Rice Creek is a continuation of the main branch of the North Fork of the Feather River. Downstream it has carved the monumental Feather River Canyon, which can be visited on State Route 70.

It is a boisterous creek up here, complete with a little mini-gorge and some spring-fed falls.

The trail follows an old 4WD along the creek on up to picturesque Ridge Lake.

This area is not well-known, and is lightly used.
