Good for all, but beginners may find this hike especially rewarding.  The beauty/effort ratio is high.

It has a fairly stiff climb up along a branch of Hat Creek which suddenly opens up at idyllic Paradise Meadow. 

No cars, no human structures.  A crystal-clear creek meandering through lush grasses and sedges.  It feels like being deep in the wilderness.

And then a short walk back downhill to the trailhead.
